Massasoit Wins 10th Straight to Start the Season
The Massasoit Community College women's volleyball team continued its dominant start to the 2025 season, defeating Berkshire Community College 3-0 on Saturday to improve to 10-0 overall.
The Warriors controlled the match from start to finish, showing balance across all phases of play. Stephanie Eznard led the way with a standout performance, tallying 15 kills, 3 aces, 17 digs, and 21 total points. Ana Clara Marcal Antonucci Goodrich was strong on both sides of the net, contributing 6 kills, 6 aces, and a team-high 32 digs.
Setter Laissa Merancin orchestrated the offense efficiently with 32 assists and added 5 aces and 9 digs of her own. Nahomie Morency also made an impact at the service line, recording 8 aces and 12 digs, while Madison Mills and Nevaeh Osborne provided key defensive support at the net.
The win marks Massasoit's 10th consecutive victory to open the season, as the Warriors continue to establish themselves as one of the top programs in Region 21.
Massasoit will look to keep its perfect record intact when they return to action next week.
