BROCKTON, Mass. ---- The NJCAA Region 21 Women's Soccer Tournament field is set and the No. 3 seed Massasoit Warriors will face No. 2 seed Bristol Community College on Saturday at 1:30 PM on the campus of Holyoke Community College.
Game 1: 1 Holyoke vs 4 Springfield Tech – Saturday at 11 AM
Game 2: 2 Bristol vs 3 Massasoit – Saturday at 1:30 PM
Game 3: G1 Winner vs G2 Winner – Monday at 2 PM

Massasoit will look to right the ship entering the 2019 Region 21 Tournament as the Warriors dropped four of their final five games to close out the regular season.
As a team, the Warriors are scoring an average of 3.31 goals per game while allowing 2.86 goals to the opposition.
Leading the offensive charge is sophomore forward Anya Welch-Batstone of Avon. The striker ranks second in Region 21 in goals (20) and points (45) for the season.
After Welch-Batstone, a total of four Warriors have produced double digit point totals on the year in Dineida Gomes of Brockton (14pts – 6g, 2a), Becca Chandler of Marshfield (14pts – 3g, 8a), Rachel Connell of Bridgewater (14pts – 4g, 6a) and Felisberta Tavares of Brockton (11pts – 5g, 1a).

Bristol collected an 8-game win streak before falling to CCRI to close out the regular season to earn the No. 2 seed.
The Bayhawks have soared offensively, averaging 4.43 goals per game and allowing only 1.67 per contest, totaling six shutouts.
Freshman Alyssa Tortora has been a scoring machine for Bristol, leading the NJCAA in goals with 43 and sitting second in points with 91.
WARRIORS QUALIFY FOR TOURNEY AGAIN: Massasoit has reached the Region 21 Tournament for 12 consecutive seasons and have qualified all six years under head coach Jim Stapleton. The last year Massasoit did not qualify for postseason action was in 2007.
CLOSE TO CENTURY CLUB: Anya Welch-Batstone is just four points shy of reaching 100 for her collegiate career at Massasoit. In total, Welch-Batstone has netted 41 goals and dished out 14 assists for 96 career points. She would become the first women's soccer to reach 100 points since Shelby Sprague, who tallied 120 points from 2015-16.
SEARCHING FOR REGION 21 TITLE: Massasoit has won two Region 21 titles in women's soccer history, claiming championships in 1999 and 1989.
