Massasoit Knocks off #7 NECC
Massasoit Community College continued its winning ways, improving to 13-2 with a statement win over #7 nationally ranked NECC, marking the second time this season the Warriors have knocked off a nationally ranked opponent.
The Warriors were powered by a balanced yet aggressive offensive attack, led by Eliase Feagins, who delivered a dominant all-around performance. Feagins poured in a game-high 26 points on an efficient 9-of-14 shooting, while also going 8-of-9 from the free-throw line. He added nine rebounds, a block, and a steal, consistently making plays on both ends of the floor.
Omari Brooks finished with 20 points, including 9-of-10 from the foul line.
The Warriors controlled the glass behind Liedson Mendes, who posted a strong 17-point, 12-rebound double-double. Mendes was active throughout, knocking down two three-pointers, grabbing four offensive boards, and dishing out four assists.
Senior guard Jahssa Estrela played all 40 minutes, recording six assists while battling through constant pressure. Jeriamah Ismus provided key minutes inside, contributing seven rebounds in just 18 minutes of action.
Off the bench, Jake Savage gave Massasoit a major lift, pulling down 11 rebounds to go along with three assists, helping the Warriors win the rebounding battle 44–31.
