Massasoit Rolls to 130-78 Victory, Improves to 5-1
Massasoit continued its dominant start to the season on Thursday night, overpowering its opponent in a 130-78 win to improve to 5-1 overall. The Warriors delivered a complete team effort, shooting nearly 50 percent from the field and overwhelming the opposition on the glass and in transition.
John Francois led the charge with a monster performance, scoring 32 points on 14-of-22 shooting while adding 11 rebounds for a double-double. He was unstoppable around the rim and set the tone early for Massasoit's fast-paced attack.
In the frontcourt, Eliase Feagins was a force of his own, posting 16 points and 17 rebounds, including an incredible 14 offensive boards that fueled second-chance scoring all night.
Massasoit saw balanced contributions across the lineup. Omari Brooks scored 16 points and dished out 5 assists, while Jahssa Estrela added 15 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds in a strong all-around effort. Liedson Mendes chipped in 9 points on efficient perimeter shooting (3-of-5 from three).
The Warriors' bench kept the pressure high, combining for 43 points. Talik Mair provided a spark with 12 points in just 11 minutes, and Jake Savage added 9 points and 4 rebounds. Eleven different players scored, reflecting the depth and tempo Massasoit imposed throughout the game.
As a team, Massasoit dominated the boards with 70 total rebounds, including 35 offensive, and shared the ball well with 21 assists. The Warriors also knocked down 12 three-pointers and forced 19 turnovers to control the game on both ends.
With the win, Massasoit moves to 5-1 on the season.
