Game Two No Hitter Fuels Sweep of NHTI
Josh Perez and Matt Kelley combined to throw a no-hitter in game two, as the Massasoit baseball team swept NHTI on Sunday, 11-6 and 12-2, to close out the regular season.

CONCORD, N.H. ---- Josh Perez and Matt Kelley combined to throw a no-hitter in game two, as the Massasoit baseball team swept NHTI on Sunday, 11-6 and 12-2, to close out the regular season.
The Warriors end the 2022 regular season campaign with a record of 15-16 overall and 7-5 in Region 21 play. The sweep gave Massasoit five straight victories and wins in 11 of its last 14 games.
As for the no-no, Perez worked the first four frames, striking out six and walking just one. Matt Kelley pitched the final frame, fanning two and walking one as only two baserunners reached in the contest. The no hitter marked the first by Massasoit since Jake Stearns threw a perfect game vs MassBay back on April 9, 2016.
At the plate, Massasoit continued to swing a hot bat, scoring 23 runs off 22 hits in the sweep of the Lynx.
Bryce Evans went 5-for-8 with four runs scored and two RBI. Matt Kelly went 3-for-6 with three runs scored and Kyle Cummings and Jadon Ricci each knocked in four on the day.
