Game 1: Southern Maine CC 9, Massasoit 7
SMCC used a five-run fifth inning to hold off Massasoit and earn the 9-7 victory in game one.
Jadon Ricci went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI in the loss.
Game 2: Massasoit 11, Southern Maine CC 5
In his first collegiate start, Jomar Angel Castro went the distance on the mound to earn the victory.
Castro scattered seven hits and allowed three earned runs over seven frames. The righty struck out three and walked three.
Offensively, Massasoit ripped 16 total hits, highlighted by a 4-for-5 performance by Bryce Evans.
Jadon Ricci went 3-for-4 with three RBI and Max Kelly, Kyle Cummings and Damien Bonner each added two hits for the Warriors.
