BROCKTON, Mass. ---- In a season that saw its ups and downs, the Massasoit men's soccer team hit an upswing for the last part of the season en route to winning the Region XXI Championship and being minutes away from advancing to the NJCAA National Tournament.

The Warriors fifth win of their late season streak, which started at Dean College, continued at Dean College. Massasoit clipped the Bulldogs, 2-1, to win the league's championship and advance to the New England District Semifinals.

Against ASA College, Massasoit fell behind 2-0 early in the New England District Semifinals. The Warriors would rally in the second half and take a 3-2 lead, but ASA would tie the game and eventually win in penalty kicks, ending the season for Massasoit.
